Acid-based toning care targets uneven texture, dullness and visible pigmentation while helping lift dead surface cells. Developed for normal, combination and oily skin, the formula combines multiple exfoliating acids in a fluid step that can be used through the year according to the brand.
Lactic, citric, tartaric, malic and succinic acids are joined by sodium salicylate and potassium azeloyl diglycinate. Together they support exfoliation, a brighter-looking tone and clearer surface texture, while aloe and glycerin help balance the formula with humectant care.
Best suited to routines focused on resurfacing and tone correction, the tonic is used on the face, neck and décolleté while avoiding the eye area. Consistent sun protection is particularly important because exfoliating acids can increase sensitivity to ultraviolet exposure.
Caution: use acids carefully during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not apply to damaged skin. Use SPF 30+ every day.
