Desert Rosewood Eau de Parfum is a spicy-amber woody fragrance inspired by Australia’s Central Highlands. Its character is built around Australian Desert Rosewood and Buddha Wood, balanced with citrus, spice, resin, vanilla, and patchouli for a warm, dry, and structured profile.
Mandarin introduces a bright citrus edge, while ginger adds aromatic sharpness at the opening. Patchouli and guaiacwood form the heart, giving the composition earthy, woody, and lightly smoky depth, before amber and vanilla bring a smoother base with resinous warmth and soft sweetness.
Released in 2016, Desert Rosewood was created by perfumer François Merle-Baudoin under the creative direction of Dimitri Weber. The Eau de Parfum contains 20% essences and botanicals, consistent with Goldfield & Banks’ concentrated approach to Australian-inspired perfumery.
