Le Galion Cuir Eau de Parfum presents a refined interpretation of leather, combining warm spices, resinous depth, and structured woods. The composition reflects a classic leather signature expressed through a modern niche perfumery style.
A vibrant opening blends saffron and pink pepper, introducing warmth with a subtle spicy edge. The heart develops around leather and labdanum, creating a rich and textured core with smooth resinous nuances. In the base, patchouli, vetiver, and cedar form a dry woody foundation that supports the leather accord and gives the fragrance lasting depth.
Paul Vacher composed what would later become Diorling, a leathery chypre scent. Earlier in his career, he also co-created Lanvin’s Scandal, a dark leathery scent. As a tribute to these landmarks of the 20th century, Le Galion has created Cuir, robustly elegant, between an emancipated femininity and a demonstrative masculinity.
