Institut Esthederm is a premium professional brand of cosmetics for skin care. The brand was created by pharmacist-biologist Jean-Noel Thorel, who founded the Bioderma and Etat Pur brands and invented micellar water technology.
The brand's products cover four areas of self-care: cleansing, energization, care and protection. The brand has a separate body care line. All products are produced in France, following the principle of ecobiology, based on the belief that the skin does not need a huge amount of funds – it just needs to be helped to function properly.
The brand has more than 70 patents of its own, the main of which is cellular water, an artificially created composition that repeats our intercellular fluid in three main parameters: ionic composition, PH level and antioxidant systems. Cellular water is found in all Institut Esthederm products, it makes the products biocompatible with the skin and increases their effectiveness.
