MASQUE MILANO Eau de parfum Mandala 100 ml
MASQUE MILANO
II – II MANDALA The whole universe.
Mandala is an olfactory journey into meditation and spirituality, inspired by the hypnotic resonance of monastic overtone singing. Alessandro and Riccardo envisioned a fragrance that could “sing two notes at the same time,” capturing the trance-like aura of a distant monastery. Perfumer Christian Carbonnel, known for his mastery of spicy and ambery compositions, brought this vision to life with a bold interplay of myrrh and frankincense.
The fragrance opens with a kaleidoscope of spices, evoking the richness of a sacred, time-worn ritual. Although oud is absent, the combination of resins creates a deep, smoky and woody warmth. The myrrh and frankincense collide in a powerful, dizzying burst—before merging into a single, unbroken harmony, where the bitterness of myrrh softens into the meditative stillness of frankincense.
Mandala is a scent of mysticism and transcendence, evoking the quiet reverence of sacred spaces.

MASQUE Milano Opera Collection - the opera of life in four acts.
People we meet often ask us why we drew our inspiration from musical opera. We are both Italians… We enjoy life in the style of La Dolce Vita.
Very often, many foreign friends tell us that we are lucky because we grew up in an open-air museum. Could they be more right? Immersed in the traditions of art and architecture, music and ballet, everything we do now speaks of our origins. We have both been musicians for over 20 years, collecting musical instruments, and we love to go to La Scala (the opera house in Milan).
When we started developing our line of fragrances, it was very natural for us to develop the concept around art, rooted in Italian culture and traditions, and this is musical opera.
In each individual scene of the opera, some characters change, as well as the main hero and elements of the setting. Similarly, in our lives, we can change the "mask" (appearance, lifestyle, friendships, tone of voice, or manner of speaking), but we can never part with our innermost individuality.
What makes a fragrance a masterpiece, if not the ability to evoke olfactory memories? The fragrance line is a collection, not just a set of fragrances under one brand, where different olfactory memories are connected by a common thread.
